The Yale-NUS College Library is pleased to host the workshop, What’s Your Agenda: A Guide to Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse & Other Disruptive Environments. This workshop will be facilitated by Maddy Medlycott, Research and Reference Librarian at Crown Law Library, and Michael Hawks, Liaison Librarian for the Science & Engineering Faculty at Queensland University of Technology (QUT).

Join us for a 3.5-hour workshop and learn how to be resilient and thrive in disruptive environments such as a zombie apocalypse through gamification! Designed specifically for librarians, this workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to be resilient in a changing and/or disruptive environment. During this workshop you will:
- Identify your core personal values and how they align with your organisation’s values. Identify skills needed to allow you to meet both, even if they are conflicting.
- Identify tools that will give you the ability to negotiate and compromise with others who may have competing agendas.
- Develop interpersonal communication skills to make meaningful connections in the workplace.
- Develop skills and identify tools that will enable you to work effectively within a disruptive workplace.
This workshop is suitable for professionals at all stages of their career, but especially so for early to mid-career professionals, and people who are looking to and/or recently taken on new responsibilities at work.
