Training and Development
Our Training & Development initiatives strengthen professional growth through structured learning, peer sharing, and industry updates.
Explore the LAS Competency Framework for Information Professionals for competencies and proficiency descriptions expected of information professionals and the Professional Development Scheme 2.0 for guided professional growth.
Together with programmes such as Lunchtime Brown Bag sessions, Learning Alerts, and LAS–NLB Professional Sharing, we build competencies, support continuous development, and provide meaningful learning opportunities to keep library professionals future‑ready.

We hope that participants will be able to discover practical tips and new ideas and actively discuss and share your own experiences—all in one bite-sized, informal brown bag session over lunch!
