Mr Gene Tan, President LAS, will then take us through the opportunities for professional growth and development through Singapore hosting of the World Library and Information Congress by IFLA in 2013, the and the new online librarians’ community platform. We will also take the opportunity to recognise our fellow professionals who have been certified under the Professional Development Scheme.
