Green book corner @ Yuzhi Library, Nanyang Girls’ High School

Green Book Corner @ Yuzhi Library in Nanyang Girls’ High is an initiative introduced by its Yuzhi Library that promotes the joy of reading through the sharing of good books. It is a ‘reading incentive programme’ where students could donate their personal books to the Green Book Corner while others can receive books for free by borrowing 6 books at one go.

Green Book Corner was set up in the library recently, with books donated by the public, as the start-up collection. This platform is created to encourage students to read actively and to share their treasured reads with other students. Simply by borrowing 6 books from library within one day, or donating one unused book, students could participate in this program and get more books to read. This programme, initiated by Yuzhi Library, served its purpose well in nurturing reading and maintaining environmental sustainability.
