Coming up on 20 Feb 2012, the Li Ka Shing Library of the Singapore Management University (SMU) will be hosting a book launch cum seminar event from 7.00 pm to 9.00pm.  2 books would be launched: “Small works: poverty and economic development in southwestern China” and “China experiments: from local innovations to national reform”.  The 2 authors of the books – John Donaldson and Ann Florini would be joined by James Tang (Dean of School of Social Sciences, SMU)  and Professor Zheng Yongnian (East Asian Institute, NUS) as the panel for the seminar discussion.
