Learning package on pandemics
NLB has released a learning package on pandemics covering topics on virus breakouts, pandemics, vaccination and public health in Singapore. It is an 8-part series that has been rolled out in April over 4 weeks with 2 instalments per week on the NLB Mobile app.

In the current situation, maintaining our wellbeing is important. Another learning package released by NLB provides some resources on mindfulness, self-meditation, dealing with uncertainties, working from home effectively & new hobbies.

The National Library Blog
The National Library Singapore launched its blog in March. Check out the series Bibliotherapy, which looks at its collection in a light-hearted way and hopefully bring some optimism during this period. If you have not already heard, NLB libraries will be temporarily closed from 7 April to 1 June 2020. All its on-site services will be temporarily unavailable, including bookdrops and reservation lockers. However, loan expiry dates will be automatically extended until three weeks after it reopens and no overdue fines will be imposed. All its digital services remain available.
