We are all familiar with the LAS logo, which has been around since 1976. The original design was created by Mr Ong Kim Seng for an LAS logo competition in December 1975*.
To reflect the dynamic nature of librarianship and the exciting digital era in which we live, the Council 2011/13 decided it was time to give the logo a facelift. The aim is to modernize the 36-year-old LAS logo while retaining the overall look.
We have shortlisted the 3 logos that you see above, and would like you to vote for your preferred choice during the AGM on 12 May. Do vote and make your voice heard!
